Chapter 1.1
1. Having read through chapter 1.1, make a note of 5 aspects of life around 1900 that you would not have been able to cope with.
2. Do the timeline exercise with a partner using the information from the textbook. The link below will be needed.

2. Outline the efforts of Parkes and Griffiths on bringing about Federation.
